Happy Cakes Littlest Cupcaker.

Oh my gosh, Happy Cakes littlest cupcaker started prep yesterday. I can't believe it, only yesterday I was holding her in my arms as a new born and today I'm packing her off to school. She handled it so well too, couldn't have been prouder, no tears, no fuss, just pure elation to finally be a "new big school girl"! I on the other hand I was a blubbering mess and slightly disappointed that she didn't even shed a tear for me, not even a one!! Anyway, I sent her off with a little surprise in her lunch pack.....

Just want to let you all know, for some reason, depending on your web browser, the link to leave a comment for the Happy Cakes competition can't be seen. I am trying to fix this, however in the meantime, if you hover your mouse just to the right of the time at the bottom of the entry the link appears which allows you to click on it to leave your details!! I don't understand, I work with cupcakes not computers! As soon as I can make since of the techno language I'll try to fix it. Sorry guys. Makes sense why not many of you have entered the competition. I was starting to think that I couldn't even give my happy cakes away!!

Happy Cakes hits the big time!!

Oh! Am a bit excited today, Happy Cakes has been featured in the wedding edition of the Townsville Eye, a colour supplement that is included in the local paper. I would really like to thank Shari for featuring me in the This Week We Love column (special little surprise coming your way soon Shari!). The response has been really surprising and the feedback a little overwhelming. For those of you who didn't rush out and buy half a dozen copies of the paper today, or maybe that was just me, attached is a copy of the cover and article. Thanks again Shari.

So I was thinking, I'll be doing some baking around Valentine's Day and I thought wouldn't it be nice to share the love. Which got me thinking.....
I want to share some happy cake lovin!! Which means, that you, yes you, could win 1 dozen cupcakes for Valentine's day. The rules are simple. Boring, but simple:

Well Valentines Day is not too far away, 14th February, and I am now taking orders. This year, I have 3 designs for you to chose from to say I Love You. I have romantic, sweet and just plain cute on offer.
