The Half Way Cake....

So a few months ago Katie contacted me from the JCU Vetinary Students Assoc saying that she was organising a Half Way celebration gala dinner for the Vet students. The event was being run by the students and they had fund raised for it and gained some sponsorship for the night. With this in mind they had only a set amt of money for the cake. Katie really wanted to try and create something that was memorable for the students. How could I not?? I'm an animal lover at heart, so I decided to donate my time and create them a special cake for the event. A lot of hrs went into this cake, but I think the end result was worth it ;-) Katie rang me this afternoon after she picked the cake up, unfortunately I wasn't there :-( and told me how much she loved it. She even said it might even be the star of the night!!!
