Alice in Wonderland

My dear friend Jennifer had her 6th birthday party over the weekend. Actually what I really meant to say is my dear friend Jennifer's daughter had her 6th birthday party over the weekend!! Theme was Alice in Wonderland. She's obsessed with it and wanted a party for her daughter to remember. There was no pressure on me at all to perform!! After much umming and arring over the design of the cake she settled for a giant cupcake (and yes it's edible) with cupcakes. It was a gorgeous setting at Queens Gardens near the rose garden, it was like walking into wonderland. Beautiful. It was the kind of party that every little girl dreams about.

Sporty Jack!!

Some very sporty cupcakes for Jack who is sports mad. The faces are meant to be him, I thought it added something personal and quirky to the set. I do hope he got a kick out of them!!

Made these football cakes for Oliver who is a big fan of the cowboys. Mum Fiona ordered these so he could take to school for his 9th birthday.

The Supremes....

Made this novelty cake over the weekend for a little girl who is pink, purple and horse crazy!! My husband was quick to name these ladies "The Supremes", what with their boofy hair and all!! I can just see it now, while no one was looking these babies were breaking out into song. "My baby love, my baby love, I need you oh how I need you....."
